Welcome to the SMPS Northeast Regional Conference website

SMPS Connecticut is proud to host the 2012 Regional Conference. The theme for the 2012 SMPS Northeast Regional Conference (NERC) is The New Reality – Focus & Engage designed for professional services marketers and their firms. The conference will explore this New Reality and determine how we can capitalize on the industry’s changing playing fields to Focus and Engage on becoming more successful. The conference will be held at The Omni Hotel in New Haven, CT.

NERC 2012 includes several new and exciting features.
Conference attendees will have access to:

Client Panel. Engage in a panel discussion with key members of the Gateway Community College project team. Representatives from the Owner, Designer and Construction teams will be in attendance:

Technical Tips & Tricks
. Brush up on your computer skills or learn about some of the latest new features. Instructors from Adobe and Constant Contact will give demonstrations and tutorials on Photoshop, InDesign, email marketing and social media.


Portrait Photography. Get your professional headshot taken!  Saint-Onge Portrait Design will be on site to take your photo and help put your best face forward on all your marketing and promotions.


Entertainment. Enjoy live music while mingling with colleagues! Led by SMPS Connecticut’s own Jon Schlesigner, the band Closely Watched Trains will be playing on Thursday night at nearby venue BAR, just two blocks from the Omni Hotel.


Tour of Gateway Community College

Get a sneak peak at one of Connecticut’s largest new construction projects!  Led by representatives from Construction Manger Dimeo, attendees will take a tour through Gateway Community College. Scheduled to open to students in September 2012, this 367,000-SF LEED Gold Certified building occupies a two-block site on Church Street and is walking distance from the Omni.

Meet SMPS National Staff. Join SMPS National President Frank Lippert and members of SMPS National Board and Staff Member for a leadership luncheon, taking place in the Harbour Room on the 19th floor of the Omni, with breathtaking views of downtown New Haven and Yale University.

KEYNOTE ANNOUNCED
