Apply for a Scholarship!

The NERC Planning Committee has a goal to promote the continued advancement of SMPS Northeast members. To that end, the Committee can award need-based scholarships to SMPS members to attend the annual regional conference. This scholarship is open to marketing, communications, and business development professionals that have at least 1 year of active SMPS membership from any of the following chapters:

  • SMPS Boston
  • SMPS New York
  • SMPS Northern New England
  • SMPS Philadelphia
  • SMPS Up-State NY
  • SMPS Connecticut
  • SMPS Maryland
  • SMPS Washington, DC
  • SMPS Central Pennsylvania

Recipients of the scholarship will receive a full registration to the SMPS NERC. Only the cost of registration will be covered. Candidates are responsible for paying their own travel, lodging and meals related expenditures. The Planning Committee at its discretion, will determine who and the number of award winners each year. The Committee targets between 3-5 winners each year, but this is dependent on the number of entries and financial strength of the conference at the time of submission.
